Hello and welcome to the No Way Marathon 2017!

Always fancied running a marathon but can't be bothered? Or maybe you've never even considered it before? Well here's your chance! This is a great opportunity to take part in a marathon that never happens and raise money for Meningitis Now. The No Way Marathon won't be held on Sunday 23 April 2017 and we hope this will be the largest non-participation event ever!

Why?

I am actually crazy enough to be running the London Marathon this year. I am running in support of Meningitis Now and you can visit my fundraising page and sponsor me here. But most my friends think I'm crazy and would never consider doing it, so I'm giving them the opportunity to enter the No Way Marathon instead - all the benefits of entering a marathon, but none of the hassle! Best of all, all proceeds go to Meningitis Now and raise money to support their work.

What do I get?

  • Everyone who registers gets a running number e-mailed to them, which they must not cut out and wear. You do, however, also get information about the symptoms of meningitis which you must cut out and keep.
  • Everyone who doesn't complete the No Way Marathon gets a bespoke medal
  • No injuries
  • No queues for the toilet
  • No training and no hassle
  • You get to sit on your sofa for the full duration of the non-event
  • A sense of smugness from telling all your friends that you completed the No Way Marathon and supported Meningitis Now.

Who can enter?

  • Absolutely anyone! From 1 day old to 100 years old, there's no age limit for the No Way Marathon.
  • As you won't be training, there's no health restrictions either. No matter how unhealthy you are, you can still not complete the No Way Marathon.
  • Dogs
  • Cats
  • Hamsters
  • Any other creatures you live with

Sounds great. How do I sign up?
